# Get started with Xovris

Xovris watches what your business runs online, tells you the moment something breaks, works out why, and – where you
have allowed it – fixes it and proves the fix worked. Setup says it is done only when it really is: when your first real
event has arrived.

<PageTask next={{ label: 'Check your website now – nothing to install', href: '/#start' }}>
This command works from the first release, once the xovris package is published. Until then, check your website from the home page – it needs nothing installed.
</PageTask>

## Set up with your coding agent

From the first release, add the Xovris MCP server to your agent, then paste the prompt. Your agent runs the same wizard and verify step as you
would, and asks you to approve the sign-in in your browser – it never sees a key. [More on the coding-agent path](/docs/connect/coding-agent/).

The Xovris MCP server opens with the first release. Each AI tool’s one-line setup appears here the day it answers.

This command works from the first release, once the xovris package is published. Until then, check your website from the home page – it needs nothing installed.

## Or set it up yourself

1. **Enter your website address.** Your browser checks HTTPS, DNS and the domain's registration now, and Xovris's probe adds the certificate from launch.
There is no code to install and no account to connect. [How website checks work](/docs/start/website-checks/).
2. **Connect your app.** From the first release, run one command in your project, let the Xovris GitHub App open the change as a pull request,
or connect [through Vercel](/docs/connect/vercel/) for the variables. Choose your stack – each guide shows when its
   install test last passed:

- [Next.js](/docs/connect/nextjs.md) - Beta
- [React on Vite](/docs/connect/react-vite.md) - Beta
- [Node.js (Express, Fastify)](/docs/connect/node.md) - Beta
- [Python (Django, FastAPI)](/docs/connect/python.md) - Planned

3. **Get alerts where you will see them.** Email alerts are on from the start. When you add Slack, a test alert shows
Slack's own acceptance. If a channel fails, Xovris tells you which one and sends the alert by email instead.

## For AI assistants and agents

Everything here is published for machines as well as people:

- [`/llms.txt`](/llms.txt) – the map of these docs for AI assistants.
- Every page as Markdown – add `.md` to its address, for example [`/docs/start/website-checks.md`](/docs/start/website-checks.md); this page is [`/docs/index.md`](/docs/index.md).
- [The install skill](/skills/install-xovris/SKILL.md) – a `SKILL.md` any agent that loads skills can follow.
- [The MCP server](/docs/connect/coding-agent/) – the tools your agent can call, and how to add it.
